As an Air Cadet, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at training with and firing target rifles. This is one of our most popular activities and requires careful learning and attention to detail.

We will teach you to handle a rifle safely and coach you to be an accurate and consistent shot, which is essential for target shooting. As you progress through training you will have the opportunity to fire different types of rifles, over longer distances and to improve your accuracy and standard of firing.

All of our shooting takes part in highly controlled conditions with close supervision by fully trained and experienced staff. You will be given full training on any rifle that you handle and must pass a safety test before being allowed to fire on the range. Safety is our top priority for shooting, just as for all other activities.
